Ladders is seeking a Senior Director of Security Engineering to define and drive the long-range security engineering direction, overseeing security operations across applications, platform, and incident response. This remote US-based role partners with executives to ensure secure outcomes and AI-enabled decision support.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, strong cloud and application security foundations, and a track record of shaping security strategy aligned with business

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in security engineering or related field.
• 7+ years managing security teams, including senior leaders.
• Proven multi-functional security strategy and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define a multi-year Security Engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
• Set priorities with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
• Lead and develop managers and senior leaders within security functions.
• Establish accountability and execution visibility mechanisms.
• Resolve missed commitments and conflicts proactively.
• Build an AI-forward roadmap for security operations and decision support.
• Enhance application and platform security, as well as incident response capabilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure secure outcomes.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, and vendor strategy for security operations.
• Advise executive leadership on security priorities and risks.
