Job summary

Swoop is seeking an AI-Forward Engineer to lead AI-driven tooling and integrations across product, engineering, data, design, and sales. You’ll prototype, evaluate, and ship AI-powered workflows that give teams an unfair advantage while maintaining security and cost discipline.

With a strong software foundation in TypeScript, Java, and Python, you’ll build scalable AI-native platforms and internal tools that empower nontechnical stakeholders to leverage advanced analytics and automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in engineering or DevOps roles.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Java, and Python.
• Hands-on with Terraform, GitHub flows/actions, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with AI tools and frontier models.
• Ability to translate cross-team pain into tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, design, ops to identify AI-enabled solutions.
• Prototype and ship AI-assisted developer tooling and CI/CD improvements.
• Evaluate frontier models and integrate best-fit into workflows.
• Build AI-augmented testing pipelines and codebase tooling.
• Develop internal tools and dashboards for nontechnical users.
• Define best practices for AI safety, cost, and security.
• Monitor reliability, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of AI systems.
