Job summary

Zip is transforming enterprise procurement through AI. As an AI Forward Deployed Engineer, you will embed inside our most strategic accounts, uncover operational problems, and build working solutions using Zip's agent infrastructure and AppStudio.

You will own a small book of enterprise accounts end-to-end, with accountability for deploying AI and expanding scope. You will work where Zip's platform meets real enterprise complexity across procurement, finance, legal, and risk workflows, and you

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise procurement or legal teams.
• Experience building AI agents or automated workflows (Claude, N8N, Make, Zapier).
• Proven track record owning complex customer engagements end-to-end.
• Ability to build integrations and read APIs without an on-call engineer.
• Procurement or legal domain credibility with executives; credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to understand procurement/workflows at the process level.
• Build and deploy AI agent solutions using Zip's AppStudio and AI infrastructure.
• Own the customer relationship and manage parallel workstreams across a small portfolio of accounts.
• Surface the next problem worth solving before the customer can articulate it.
• Produce architecture documentation that captures what was built and how to generalize.
• Feed structured learnings back to product and engineering.
• Represent Zip on-site at customer locations when required.
