Job summary

Zip is the AI platform for enterprise procurement. You will join Zip's Forward Deployed Software Engineering team as a software engineer on high‑impact product work at the company.

You’ll write and ship production code, partner directly with our most critical customers, and own the engineering on deals that matter most to Zip. The team operates close to the customer, moves with urgency, and builds the features that determine whether the biggest deals close on time, whether our most demanding

Qualifications

• Shipped non-trivial production systems and read/write code across the stack.
• Backend Python and frontend React/TypeScript experience at Zip.
• Translate customer needs into technical specs and roadmaps.
• Own problems end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering on critical customer projects with defined scope and timelines.
• Ship high-impact features advancing strategic deals and renewals.
• Provide product sense and partner with core product teams on what to build.
• Shape Zip’s platform roadmap with delivered features for key customers.
• Communicate directly with customers and translate trade-offs for engineers and executives.
