Job summary

EY seeks a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of AI-native systems within a client engagement. You will be the technical authority, coordinating a small cell and engaging directly with client stakeholders to translate business needs into secure, production-grade solutions.

The role requires 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise systems, hands-on engineering depth, and strong risk-aware judgment in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise systems.
• Hands-on engineering depth across integration-heavy architectures and cloud platforms.
• Experience with modern AI-enabled application stacks.
• Proven forward-deployed, customer-facing, or solutions-architecture background.
• Led a small technical team while remaining an individual contributor.
• Strong stakeholder management under pressure.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end outcome delivery for the cell, including scoping and production readiness.
• Embed with the client to translate business needs into technical solutions under constraints.
• Serve as primary technical interface and trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
• Stay hands-on, designing and building critical parts of the solution.
• Deploy and stabilize solutions in the client environment.
• Direct the work of the cell’s engineers to deliver a coherent outcome.
• Ensure deployments meet safety, integrity, and cost constraints with control authorities.
