Job summary

EY is seeking a hands‑on Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to own end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑native systems within a client engagement. The role embeds with the client, balancing technical rigor with strong stakeholder relationships to ensure secure, production‑grade outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of enterprise experience, deep integration and cloud skills, and a track record of delivering complex, regulated solutions. Hybrid client work is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering complex enterprise systems, ideally in regulated or client‑facing contexts.
• Hands-on engineering depth across integration‑heavy architectures, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern AI‑enabled stacks (LLMs, orchestration frameworks).
• Proven ability to operate in forward‑deployed, customer‑facing roles, owning outcomes end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end outcome delivery for the cell, including scoping, tradeoffs, technical direction, and production readiness.
• Embed directly with the client to define the real problem and translate needs into an executable solution under constraints.
• Serve as the primary technical interface to client stakeholders, managing expectations and trust.
• Stay hands‑on, designing and building critical parts of the solution.
• Deploy, adapt, and stabilize solutions in the client environment with release readiness.
• Direct the work of the cell’s engineers, ensuring integrations and data readiness come together.
• Ensure deployments meet safety, integrity, and cost constraints with governance.
