Jellyfish in New York is seeking an AI-Forward ACD - Art Director to lead conceptually across film creative and production. You will work hands-on daily, using AI tools and traditional craft, while guiding a diverse team across the US, UK and Mexico.

This hybrid role centers on delivering visually compelling campaigns, leveraging AI-driven techniques and a strong craft ethos to elevate brand storytelling. The position is based in New York with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as an ACD/Art Director at top advertising agencies.
• Proven track record of leading successful, award-winning campaigns and teams.
• Enthusiasm for the use of AI in Art Direction - supported by a strong background and commitment to creative craft.
• Strong, integrated portfolio showcasing expertise in concept development, executional craft and multi-platform storytelling.
• Deep experience in the entire film production process, from pre-production through to post production and delivery.
• Expertise and continued awareness across digital, social, AI tools and emerging advertising trends.
• Excellent team and client communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with global brands on high-profile campaigns.
• Hands on experience with AI tools, including ChatGPT, Midjourney and other AI-driven creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Creative Vision across your portfolio of projects across platforms.
• Drive the Art Direction craft across all projects for AI-forward campaigns.
• Deliver award-winning ideas and craft that meet briefs and client objectives.
• Create mock-ups and storyboards using GenAI and design tools such as Figma.
• Generate concepts for multiple brands and guide designers to bring them to life.
• Lead with AI tools while maintaining strong Art Direction craft.
• Present work to clients and respond to feedback with creative solutions.
• Guide a design team from concept through to final execution.
• Collaborate across teams in the US, UK and Mexico.
• Develop film treatments, storyboards, and mood boards for AI film projects.
