FurtherAI is hiring its first Strategy & Operations Associate in San Francisco. You will dive into operations across finance, GTM, and product, building AI-powered workflows and internal tooling to replace manual work.

You’ll work directly with the founders, own projects end to end, and translate ambiguity into repeatable processes. This role emphasizes data, reporting, and cost discipline, with responsibility for dashboards, monthly close, and cost tracking, while shaping the company’s

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in a high-paced environment (e.g., MBB, Investment Banking) required.
• Genuinely AI-native — you already use LLMs and agents in your work.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to build and stress-test models.
• Extremely high attention to detail; money-moving processes require accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication across Finance, GTM, and Engineering.
• Bias toward action; based in San Francisco or willing to relocate immediately.

Responsibilities

• Put AI to work inside FurtherAI; build AI workflows and internal tooling to automate manual steps in finance and ops.
• Support FinOps and cost discipline; track costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Build the reporting the company runs on; create KPI dashboards, board materials, and recurring reports.
• Support GTM; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success on pipeline hygiene and forecasting.
• Support Engineering & Design; align headcount, tooling, and operational rhythm.
• Run cross-functional projects end to end; scope, manage, and land initiatives with COO/Chief of Staff.
• Own the mechanics of money movement; vendor onboarding, invoicing, billing, close, and cash tracking.
