Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AI Search Optimization Specialist to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will steer the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved.

You’ll perform technical SEO audits, define keyword strategies and on-page plans with writers and AI, and ensure visibility in Google AI Overviews and traditional results, with GA4 reporting and quarterly roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Experience using GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
