• Strong API design and long-term system extensibility.
• Proven production ownership and RCAs.
• Ability to influence across PM, Design, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive End-to-End Feature Delivery: take complete ownership of complex features, breaking down work and reducing cycle time.
• Lead AI-First Engineering Practices: apply AI tool fluency and prompt engineering to design AI-assisted workflows while verifying outputs for correctness.
• Architect for Scale & Extensibility: design clear interfaces and extensible logic to minimize maintainer toil and ensure performance.
• Practice Defensive & Secure Engineering: enforce defensive coding across edge cases and authorization paths.
• Simplify Workflows & Enhance UX: translate product requirements into intuitive code with PM/Design collaboration.
• Ensure Production Service Excellence: drive RCA on incidents and implement durable fixes to reduce MTTR.
• Foster Team Capability: share patterns, document knowledge, and onboard peers.
