Job summary

i2 Group, a Harris Computer company, seeks a Platform Software Engineer for a full-time, permanent role. This remote position requires monthly attendance at i2 Group offices in Cambridge as part of the role.

You will join a small, collaborative team working with Architects, UX Designers, and Product Managers to define and build platform capabilities for AI-first workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping across varied deployment targets, cloud and IaC tools, and a strong focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with deployment and operability across multiple environments is valued.
• Comfort with AI-first development and cloud-based tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform capabilities used to deploy and operate i2's products across desktop, on-premise, and cloud targets.
• Create production-grade container images and interfaces for hosting platforms.
• Own deployment and upgrade strategies for stateful distributed components and recovery paths.
• Deliver releases to customers in diverse environments and support upgrade paths from the field.
• Develop internal platform tooling that enables R&D teams to self-serve infrastructure and software.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling; instrument deployments to drive data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure AI-generated output quality.
