Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Marketing Tech Manager for Events, Sports, and Sponsorships. The role embeds with ESS teams to deploy AI‑native marketing technology, automate workflows, and enable scalable operations across global programs.

You will own tooling roadmaps, ensure security/compliance, and partner with Marketing Tech teams to deliver bespoke solutions and self‑serve capabilities for field roles.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
• 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
• Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages.

Responsibilities

• Create and own the technology tooling roadmap for the ESS organization, focusing on efficiency, scale, and AI‑first trade‑offs.
• Optimize marketing technology tools based on ESS needs including Airtable, S3, Asana, Workfront, SharePoint, Highspot, DAM/MAM, Box; build SOPs and automations.
• Embed directly with ESS sub-teams through rotational assignments and on‑demand sprints to surface automation opportunities.
• Serve as the technical bridge between ESS teams and centralized Marketing Technology partners, translating needs into technical requirements.
• Build bespoke internal tools, agents, and integrations tailored to specific team workflows.
• Champion technical self‑service by training non‑technical team members on low‑code platforms and AI tools.
