Job summary
Gusto is seeking an AI Engineer for Enterprise Applications IT (EAIT) to own the AI-first strategy and delivery of legal and compliance tech. You will embed generative AI, AI agents, and intelligent automation into CLM, matter management, e-signature, and GRC platforms, driving measurable impact.
You will translate business needs into AI-enabled requirements, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and ensure security, privilege protection, and compliance in scalable workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise applications, legal operations or product management.
- Experience delivering AI-powered products or features in legal/compliance contexts.
- Familiarity with leading LLM platforms and GenAI techniques.
Responsibilities
- Own AI-first product roadmaps for Legal & Compliance tech within EAIT.
- Translate business needs into AI-enabled product requirements with governance.
- Partner with Legal, IT risk, Security and audit teams to ensure compliance.
- Define success metrics for AI adoption, automation, and ROI.
