Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our cloud-native engineering team in Alpharetta, GA. You will design, develop, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications with an AI-first mindset and strong security practices.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, and Azure-based infrastructure, while mentoring junior engineers and driving automation and observability across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and OOP.
• Experience designing and building scalable enterprise applications.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and deployment practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Experience using Azure cloud services.
• Experience creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience leveraging AI tools, agents, and automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of security concepts (CVEs, risk assessments).
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Apply software design patterns to create scalable, secure systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design decisions.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across layers.
• Ensure software quality with automated testing and monitoring.
• Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Deploy/workloads on Kubernetes and Azure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security and operations teams to improve security posture.
