Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director, AI FinOps to establish enterprise-wide AI cost governance and funding strategies. This senior IC will define strategy, operating model, governance, and financial management to enable scalable AI innovation across cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities include building an AI FinOps CoE, designing chargeback models, reporting to C-suite, and partnering with Engineering, Finance, and Procurement to optimize AI spend while protecting performance and

Qualifications

10+ years in FinOps or cloud financial management.
5+ years building scalable FinOps programs and tooling.
2+ years in AI cost governance and optimization.
2+ years implementing chargeback/showback models.
2+ years working with enterprise AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, Vertex AI).

Responsibilities

Design and build the enterprise AI FinOps program with governance and adoption roadmaps.
Operationalize AI cost governance: tagging, allocation, anomaly detection, reporting.
Design chargeback/showback models to allocate AI spend to units.
Lead evaluation and implementation of AI FinOps tooling across cloud platforms.
Deliver executive-level financial reporting and AI cost insights.
Partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Finance to optimize AI spend.
