Sapiens in the United States is seeking a senior software engineer to turn ambiguous customer problems into production AI capabilities, as the technical half of the Value FDE and AI-FDE pair.

You will ship live capabilities quickly, own end-to-end builds, and design agentic workflows that operate close to the process. Occasional travel to client sites is expected to support delivery and adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++ or TypeScript; APIs and cloud.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or agentic workflows in production.
• Experience with insurance systems or platforms is a plus.
• Data engineering, MLOps or security in regulated industries is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Ship a working capability against the live backlog in the first week where feasible, then iterate.
• Own the build end to end: model real data and process, design agentic workflows, integrate, evaluate, release.
• Build close to the people who operate the process; no requirements hand-off.
• Meet the Minimum Viable Autonomy bar (evaluation, observability, escalation, controls) before production.
• Reuse and compose existing AIP and agent capabilities; feed proven patterns to the catalogue and R&D.
• Leave the customer able to run, monitor and adjust what has been built.
• Partners one-to-one with the Value FDE. BVDE and PDE are separate roles. Bengaluru engineers back 25 of the 80 pods.
