Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Summer Intern to join our Fundamental Long/Short Equity business as an AI Equity Associate for a 10-week program. You will work directly with the Equity COO on the firm's AI priorities, helping portfolio management teams apply AI to equity research, portfolio construction, and risk management.

During the internship you will ramp on internal AI tools, contribute to AI enablement projects, and then be embedded into one or two PM teams on

Qualifications

At least 1–2 years of full-time work experience in finance, preferably in equity research, investment banking, or related field.
Strong interest in finance and equity markets.
Hands-on ability with leading AI assistants and agentic tools (Claude, OpenAI) and data connections.
Understanding of equity research process, valuation, risk analysis, and fundamental research.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills for working with PMs and analysts.
Resourceful, self-directed, and able to work with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Build and refine AI workflows, including prompts, skills, data connections and lightweight automations.
Develop AI best practices across Equity teams with solutions, docs and training material.
Gather feedback from PMs and analysts and translate into clear requirements for central teams.
Communicate progress and results clearly to PMs and senior stakeholders.
