Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an Enterprise Architect to lead AI, cloud architectures and the enterprise-wide data/API ecosystem. You will define pragmatic reference architectures, patterns, and guardrails that accelerate delivery while ensuring security, compliance, and scalability.

You will drive cross-team roadmaps, influence senior stakeholders, and modernize legacy data platforms to align with target-state architecture. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on architectural execution.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of architecture/design/delivery experience including enterprise architecture.
• Experience leading AI/Cloud architectures and multi-team alignment.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking across business, products, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term AI/enterprise architecture roadmaps.
• Design and prototype AI platforms and core services for scale and security.
• Modernize legacy data platforms into cloud-native architectures with migration plans.
• Architect data warehousing and lakehouse solutions for enterprise use.
• Establish data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and observability patterns.
• Apply AI concepts to modernize data engineering and delivery processes.
• Define guardrails, templates, and paved roads for teams to adopt.
• Embed security and regulatory requirements into CI/CD and architecture patterns.
