Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to monitor threats and incidents across enterprise environments, coordinating response and continuous improvement. The role includes validating AI-generated outputs, following established playbooks, and escalating risk where needed.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, curious, and able to document assumptions while collaborating with engineering teams to tune detection and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, IT Operations, or related environment.
• Experience monitoring, triaging, investigating, and escalating security events using established processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security platforms, dashboards, alerts, and reporting channels for threats and incidents.
• Review, triage, investigate, and validate alerts from SIEM/EDR/DLP/IAM and other sources.
• Use approved AI-assisted capabilities to summarize alerts and enrich cases.
• Execute incident response playbooks and escalation paths.
• Support evidence collection, containment, remediation, and closure.
