Per Scholas is seeking an industry-experienced Low Voltage Instructor to deliver hands-on training in fiber optics, structured cabling, and data center cabling. You will guide entry-level adult learners, lead labs, model professional practice, and support certification readiness.

The role emphasizes safety, documented practice, and engaging instructional delivery to prepare learners for entry-level careers in fiber and telecom infrastructure.

Qualifications

• FOA CFOT certification preferred and OSHA/NFPA safety knowledge is important.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage installation and fiber/copper cabling required.
• Ability to teach adult learners in labs and classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training for low-voltage fiber technician topics.
• Facilitate hands-on labs in copper and fiber cabling, testing, and documentation.
• Lead safety practices and OSHA 10/NFPA 70E alignment in labs and field scenarios.
• Support learner preparation for CFOT certification and exams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update curriculum and labs.
• Maintain learner records and progress in LMS platforms.
