Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a hands-on AI engineering leader to own the Tenant Engine, a critical AI-powered static‑analysis and remediation framework supporting a high‑visibility, portfolio‑scale multi‑tenant migration.

The VPII, Software Engineering Manager & AI Lead will direct regeneration cycles across scanning, noise filtering, LLM validation, and remediated-code generation; approve noise-filter rules and prompts; oversee scale across 900+ repositories; and coordinate engine to migration

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, AI, ML, platform, or data-intensive engineering.
• 5+ years in AI/ML or platform technical leadership.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience owning production LLM/GenAI systems, prompts, and evaluation pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Tenant Engine roadmap and operating rhythm; prioritize remediation automation and portfolio-scale scanning.
• Direct regeneration cycles: scan → noise-filter → LLM-validation → remediated-code generation; incorporate SME feedback.
• Govern noise-filter rules and prompts; balance false positives with coverage and risk.
• Lead and develop the Applied AI Engineer, AI Platform Engineer, and scan-operations analysts.
• Oversee scan operations at scale across 900+ repositories; ensure SLA and cost targets.
• Coordinate cross-track handoffs with DB & App and E2E QE leads.
• Report quality and economics to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Build operational independence with runbooks and scalable processes.
