Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, Software Engineer to shape developer experience and apply AI at enterprise scale. You will contribute as a senior individual contributor, writing production code and reviewing PRs while shaping platform and AI architecture.

The role focuses on Internal Developer Platform delivery, AI/GenAI enablement, and collaboration with Architecture, Security, and Platform teams. This is a hands-on technical leadership position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on, end-to-end app development across .NET, Angular, React, TypeScript, Python in AWS and microservices.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience delivering AI/ML and GenAI in production.
• 2 years Claude Suite experience (claude.ai, Claude API, Claude Code, prompts design).
• 2 years in RAG/GraphRAG pipelines, embedding models, and vector stores.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve cloud-native platform services and AI/GenAI capabilities to improve developer productivity and delivery outcomes.
• Architect and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions, including RAG and multi-agent systems, and AI-enabled developer tools.
• Drive Claude Suite adoption end-to-end, including Claude API and context window management.
• Lead large-scale Cursor AI integration, including governance and integration with MCP servers.
• Build and operate AI evaluation pipelines with monitoring, observability, and guardrails.
