Job summary

Fisher Investments is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead AI solution delivery, mentor an engineering team, and collaborate with business stakeholders to define roadmaps and outcomes. You will guide architecture, experimentation, and production deployment of AI systems, including governance and responsible AI practices.

Required are 7+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in leadership, plus hands-on AI/GenAI experience, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps/MLOps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineering teams delivering enterprise ready solutions.
• 2+ years industry experience with focus on building and deploying AI and GenAI applications.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI and software engineers, promoting collaboration and career growth while ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Improve end-to-end development of custom AI solutions from architecture and experimentation through production deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with enterprise and solution architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize work, define technical roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Establish engineering best practices for AI development, including MLOps, LLMOps, testing, observability, security, governance, and responsible AI.
• Evaluate latest AI technologies and frameworks, and guide the use of scalable, reusable platforms and patterns to accelerate AI solution delivery.
