Job summary

Fisher Investments is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions and to grow an engineering team in Plano, TX. You will work with business leaders, architects, and partners to deliver scalable, secure, production-ready applications.

You bring hands-on AI/GenAI experience, a strong software engineering foundation, and a track record of shipping real-world solutions while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years leading engineering teams delivering enterprise-ready solutions.
• 2+ years of experience building and deploying AI/GenAI applications.
• Broad SDLC and architecture experience across infrastructure, application, data, and integration.
• Hands-on with AI/GenAI using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and deploying AI on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Ability to communicate complex tech to partners while balancing security, governance, and responsible AI.
• Experience in the investment management or wealth management industry.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI and software engineers, fostering collaboration and career growth.
• Improve end-to-end development of custom AI solutions from architecture to production deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to prioritize work and define technical roadmaps.
• Establish engineering practices for AI including MLOps/LLMOps, testing, observability, security, and governance.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and guide scalable platform patterns to accelerate delivery.
