Fisher Investments in Washington state is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions and grow an engineering team. You will work with business leaders to deliver scalable, production-ready applications.

You will mentor engineers, drive MLOps and responsible AI practices, and align with security and governance standards. This in-office role offers a hybrid work option and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineering teams delivering enterprise-ready solutions.
• 2+ years industry experience with focus on building and deploying AI and GenAI applications.
• Broad SDLC knowledge across architecture, infrastructure, data, and integration.
• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and DevOps/MLOps; deploying AI on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and ability to balance innovation with governance and responsible AI.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI and software engineers, promoting collaboration and career growth while ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Improve end-to-end development of custom AI solutions from architecture and experimentation through production deployment and monitoring.
• Partner with architects and business stakeholders to prioritize work, define technical roadmaps, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Establish engineering best practices for AI development, including MLOps, LLMOps, testing, observability, and governance.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and guide scalable platforms to accelerate delivery.
