Job summary

Jobot is seeking an AI Engineering Team Lead in a hybrid Irvine-based role to guide a team of engineers in designing and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. You will shape technical strategy for AI/ML and data processing, partner with data scientists, and deliver scalable systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AI/ML, 5+ years in big data, and 2+ years in leadership, with strong TensorFlow, PyTorch, langChain, and cloud tech experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML development experience.
• 5+ years of big data processing experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AI engineers to design and implement innovative AI/ML solutions.
• Develop a technical strategy for AI/ML and data processing initiatives.
• Design and build large scale data processing systems.
• Use TensorFlow, PyTorch, and langChain for AI/ML development.
• Design data processing systems and work with data transformation tools, automated data pipelines, and backend services.
• Develop software using Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, GitHub, AWS, and cloud infrastructure automation tools.
• Work with GCP BigQuery, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake for big data processing.
• Manage software projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and data processing technologies and methodologies.

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a dynamic AI Engineering Team Lead who can lead a team of Engineers to design and implement cutting edge AI solutions. This role will be pivotal in shaping the technical strategy for AI/ML and data processing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML development and large scale data processing systems. This is a permanent position in our technology department, where you will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy advanced AI models and data driven solutions.

• 8. Experience with GCP BigQuery, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• 9. Strong background in software development, Software Engineering, and Software Project Management.
• 10. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• 11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• 12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 13. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
