Job summary

You will work full-time (40 hours) per week in a hybrid or onsite setup for the duration of the summer term, gaining practical experience and expanding your professional network within a leading AI

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Coursework or hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, or computer systems.
• Familiarity with PyTorch or similar machine learning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support AI-assisted workflows for engineering and compute optimization tasks.
• Assist in building and evaluating systems that generate, test, benchmark, and measure candidate improvements.
• Contribute to tools that connect AI models with compilers, profilers, benchmarking tools, and engineering workflows.
• Support evaluation and validation efforts focused on correctness, performance, and reliability.
• Assist with analyzing experimental results and identifying opportunities to improve AI models and optimization approaches.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on AI-assisted software and hardware optimization projects.
• Support experiment tracking, benchmarking, and reproducibility across AI engineering projects.
• Document technical work, experimental results, and key learnings.
