Job summary

Doctors Without Borders seeks an AI Engineer to lead AI projects from discovery through implementation and evaluation. You will build secure, production-ready AI workflows that support MSF-USA’s priorities and governance across systems.

In collaboration with leadership and stakeholders, you will assess models, data integration, interoperability, and vendor options, guiding adoption aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in AI engineering, software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
• Experience building production-ready AI applications and workflows.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with data, applications, APIs, cloud platforms, and business systems.
• Experience leading technical projects from discovery to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI projects from discovery through implementation and evaluation.
• Design maintainable AI solutions that integrate with data, apps, and access controls.
• Implement evaluation and monitoring for AI solutions including security, ethics, and risk.
• Provide technical guidance and governance for AI standards and usage across MSF-USA.
