Job summary

T-Mobile invites ambitious students to join an 11‑week paid learning internship focused on AI‑driven decisioning. You’ll work on real projects with mentors, building skills in NBA recommendations and customer impact while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/SE/AI degrees, have AI/ML knowledge, and are comfortable with Python or Java. Relocation assistance is available for eligible applicants, and wages are paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with Python and/or Java programming, data analysis, cloud computing, and software development concepts.
• Exposure to prompt engineering, AI model optimization, data modeling, or AI‑driven decisioning through coursework, academic projects, or personal projects.
• Interest in developing intelligent decisioning solutions, personalization, and Next Best Action (NBA) recommendations to improve customer experiences.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
• Preferred but not required: Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or relevant AI/ML certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of proof‑of‑concept solutions, conduct testing, document findings, and present recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of AI‑driven decisioning.
