Victra, Verizon’s largest premium retailer in the United States, is building AI into how stores run and how we operate. As an AI Engineer III, you will design and build AI systems and the platform connecting our teams with context, guardrails, and security for real business data.

You will mentor engineers, define architecture, and deliver hands-on solutions focusing on agent frameworks, observability, and scalable cloud-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with cloud-based engineering and AI systems.
• Hands-on coding ability with Python and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship agent systems used by employees, with evaluation and monitoring before launch.
• Design the shared platform for agents, including context, permissions, and auditing.
• Guide on agent frameworks and observability to ensure reliable performance.
• Advance agents from questions to actions with safe, auditable processes.
• Mentor early-career engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
