AvidXchange is seeking an AI Engineer II to build ML/AI solutions that power our SAAS platform for accounts payable. You will design data models, apply statistical methods, and leverage ML libraries while collaborating with product, QA, DBAs, and architects to deliver scalable, secure software.

You will mentor junior engineers, apply best coding practices, and contribute to a culture focused on growth, customer obsession, and innovation in a hybrid work environment across the US.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required and 5+ years of software development experience
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and 3+ years of software development experience with multi-tiered systems
• Great knowledge of C#, R, Python
• Experience with Statistical Learning methods
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence concepts and system design
• Good knowledge of sound coding practices (unit testing, OOP, design patterns, SOLID)
• Experience with Git in CI environments
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with OWASP top ten security practices

Mansioni

• Design and develop non-traditional data models for predictive modeling and complex interpretation needs
• Conduct exploratory data analysis using statistical methods to support solution approaches
• Utilize ML libraries and frameworks where appropriate
• Stay updated on AI field developments and apply them
