Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking an AI Engineer II to develop practical AI and data solutions onsite in Phoenix, AZ. You’ll work across AI applications, data engineering, and automation, with a stack spanning Azure and Microsoft services.

You will build pipelines, integrate D365/SharePoint/Power BI, and deliver analytics, forecasting, and inventory insights while ensuring security and responsible AI practices. Local Arizona residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/DS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing and deploying software, data, automation, or AI solutions in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Platform, REST APIs, ETL, data modeling, and Azure.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and multiple data sources.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Must currently reside in Arizona or be willing to relocate to Arizona (local candidates preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop AI applications, copilots, agents, predictive tools, and proofs-of-concept.

• Apply security, privacy, documentation, and responsible AI practices.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, IT, and other teams to implement solutions.
• Support user adoption through documentation, training, and ongoing support.
