Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Senior Associate, AI Engineering to design, build and deploy AI-powered applications on Claude and AWS. You will work with senior engineers on greenfield initiatives from day one.

Responsibilities span application and infrastructure work, including agent orchestration, CI/CD, and governance alignment with OCC's AI Governance function. A collaborative, fast-moving team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Genuine, demonstrated interest in AI/LLM systems via coursework, projects or internships.
• Comfort working in a fast-evolving, forming team where standards are defined.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production AI applications using Claude and Anthropic tooling on AWS.
• Contribute to agent orchestration, tool integration, and context design for multi-step workflows.
• Work on application or infrastructure side (AI behavior, context design, AWS environments, CI/CD, observability).
• Implement automated evaluation methods and output validation for system reliability in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design decisions and participate in code/architecture reviews.
• Partner with OCC's AI Governance function on governance-defined standards implementations.
