Job summary

Vendelux is seeking an AI Engineer to research, build, and ship AI-powered product capabilities that improve workflows, accelerate insights, and drive measurable business value. You’ll help establish AI as a foundational layer of the Vendelux product experience, with a focus on agentic systems, LLMs, data, and scalable AI infrastructure.

You will work with product, data science, and application engineering teams to translate business requirements into AI systems, design robust AI infrastructure,

Qualifications

• 5+ years software or data engineering experience
• 3+ years building AI/ML products
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with modern AI frameworks (HuggingFace, LangChain) and data pipelines
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and production LLM deployment

Responsibilities

• Research and apply modern AI methods to power product capabilities
• Own architecture and integration of agentic chat across the platform
• Design AI infrastructure and multi-tenant patterns
• Maintain observability, guardrails, and production readiness
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate requirements into AI systems
