Job summary

Vendelux is seeking an AI Engineer to research, build, and ship AI-powered capabilities that enhance user workflows and accelerate insights.

You will own the architecture of agentic chat, collaborate with product and data science teams, and help scale AI infrastructure for a growing B2B SaaS platform in NYC.

Work includes deploying LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and designing reliable data pipelines with cost awareness and performance in mind.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software or data engineering with 3+ years building AI/ML products.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; familiar with AI frameworks.
• Experience deploying LLMs, including prompt engineering and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply AI methods to power new product capabilities.
• Build agentic chat features across the platform with scalable infra.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and eng teams to translate requirements.
