Félix is seeking a proactive AI Engineer to design, build, and scale autonomous agents for our WhatsApp platform, enabling reasoning, planning, and multi-step task execution across core functions. You will partner with the Head of AI and multiple engineering teams to translate strategy into a practical roadmap and production‑grade systems in a fast‑growing fintech serving Latin immigrants in the U.S.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years deploying production AI/ML apps.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, stateful AI agents for production use.
Establish observability and monitoring for agent workflows and latency bottlenecks.
Lead integration of AI agents into core product infrastructure (Payments, Fraud).
Design evals-as-code, ensure safety and groundedness before releases.
Optimize RAG pipelines, caching, and model routing for cost and performance.
Mentor junior engineers in asynchronous programming and robust data validation.
