Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Senior Associate, AI Engineering to contribute hands-on to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications on Anthropic's Claude models and AWS infrastructure. You will work directly with senior engineers on greenfield initiatives from day one.

You will build production AI applications, contribute to agent orchestration and context design, and help implement automated evaluation and governance-aligned standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with cloud and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production AI applications using Claude on AWS.
• Contribute to agent orchestration, tool integration, and context design for multi-step workflows.
• Work on either application-side (agent behavior, prompts) or infrastructure-side (AWS, CI/CD, observability).
• Implement automated evaluation methods and output validation for reliability in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design decisions and code reviews.
• Partner with OCC AI Governance on governance-defined standards.
