Qualifications

• 4+ years in backend or full-stack engineering with hands-on LLM product development.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered ranking, retrieval or recommendation systems into production.
• Background building consumer-facing (B2C) products is essential.
• Strong applied AI experience across prompting, embeddings, RAG, agent memory and personalisation.
• Practical experience building evaluation frameworks and debugging ranking or retrieval failures in production.
• Experience with TypeScript or Python and AI-assisted development workflows.
• The ability to move quickly, make architectural decisions and take ownership without layers of management.

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer with:
