Responsibilities

Build production-ready AI and LLM systems that directly support marketplace growth and operational efficiency. In this role, you will take ownership of AI initiatives from early problem framing and architecture through deployment, evaluation, and continuous iteration, helping turn real-world feedback into measurable improvements. The position is based in New York, NY (hybrid) and offers a $170,000-$230,000 base salary with equity and relocation support available for strong candidates.

Responsibilities

• Own AI projects end-to-end, starting with defining the business problem and selecting the right model, then driving deployment, evaluation, and iteration
• Build production AI systems for candidate-to-job matching and marketplace optimization
• Develop intelligent automation that replaces or improves manual marketplace workflows
• Create AI-powered capabilities across classification, extraction, content generation, and search
• Develop evaluation and experimentation systems focused on accuracy, consistency, and measurable results
• Translate real-world user feedback into production AI improvements
• Build tooling and infrastructure to accelerate AI development and iteration
• Link technical decisions and AI functionality to measurable business outcomes

What You’ll Work On

AI / ML Engineering (approximately 60%)

• Model selection, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning

Product Engineering (approximately 40%)

• APIs, backend services, and product integrations
• UI integration and AI-powered product features
• Production infrastructure to support deployment and iteration

Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering experience REQUIRED

Work Arrangement
