Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Program Manager, AI Enablement, to direct the management of AI initiatives and ensure smooth delivery across operations. You will promote AI adoption and operational productivity in a collaborative setting.

Lead governance, vendor on-boarding, risk assessments, and cross-team coordination with Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Operations to scale AI enablement across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, PM, or related field.
• 5+ years in program management, operations, governance, or cross-functional delivery.
• Experience leading enterprise programs or cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of FERPA, GDPR, CCPA, and data privacy regulations.
• Experience coordinating contracts, DPAs, MSAs, or vendor governance.
• Strong attention to detail and operational rigor.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of enterprise AI initiatives, pilots, and governance.
• Coordinate vendor risk assessments for AI tools and platforms.
• Oversee third-party AI intake including security and contracts.
• Maintain criteria matrix for AI vendor approvals and connectors.
• Partner with Procurement on AI contracts and DPAs.
• Manage AI vendor list and reassessment cadence.
• Establish program governance artifacts and reporting.
• Coordinate across AI Enablement, Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks and readiness; support scale and onboarding.
