Job summary

Cengage Group in the United States is seeking a Program Manager, AI Enablement to drive delivery and governance of AI initiatives across the company. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Legal, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Product, Engineering and Operations to scale AI adoption and operational efficiency.

This role requires 5+ years in program management, a strong grasp of privacy regulations, and proven ability to manage enterprise programs with rigor and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IS, PM, technology, or related field.
• 5+ years in program management, operations, governance, or cross-functional tech delivery.
• Experience managing enterprise programs or cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of FERPA, GDPR, CCPA, and privacy regulations.
• Experience coordinating contracts, DPAs, MSAs, or vendor governance.
• Strong attention to detail and operational rigor.
• Excellent collaboration with Legal, Procurement, Security, Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Ability to move quickly without compromising rigor.
• Strong executive communication (written and verbal) for reports & updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational cadence for enterprise AI initiatives, pilots, vendor onboarding, and governance.
• Coordinate vendor risk assessments for AI tools, platforms, and integrations.
• Oversee the AI intake process including security, privacy, and contract review.
• Maintain criteria matrix for AI vendor approvals and connector decisions.
• Collaborate with Procurement on AI contracts, DPAs, and terms.
• Establish governance artifacts: intake workflows, logs, and executive updates.
