Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an SDE II on the AFX Enablement Technology team to own backend and full-stack work across AI coaching and learning, content enablement and governance, and external customer engagement.

You will ship in a fast-paced, AI-first process using Kiro and Amazon Quick, building a unified seller experience with well-governed APIs and services. The role involves designing scalable services, building AI-powered capabilities, and owning end-to-end delivery from concept

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years in design/architecture of systems.
1+ years of designing multi-tiered or distributed software.
1+ years of OO design experience.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using AWS-native technologies.
Build full-stack experiences spanning backend and modern web/voice front ends.
Develop AI learning, coaching, and assessment capabilities.
Integrate enablement capabilities into a unified seller experience via clean APIs.
Apply GenAI patterns to content generation, search, and summarization.
Own operational excellence: monitoring, on-call participation, cost optimization.
Write high-quality, well-tested code and mentor junior engineers.
