Markel seeks an Associate AI Business Partner to advance enterprise AI adoption from the U.S. & Bermuda Center for AI Enablement. You will partner with business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities, guide use-case development, and coordinate delivery paths across teams.

The role emphasizes scalable, well-governed AI practices and measurable outcomes. You’ll help build AI workforce enablement programs, foster communities of practice, and ensure responsible AI use aligned to enterprise

Qualifications

• 2+ years of specialty insurance experience.
• 1-2+ years of experience using AI tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to identify and deliver technology, automation, digital transformation, or AI initiatives.
• Ability to translate business challenges into practical, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted AI advisor to business leaders, helping identify, refine, and prioritize AI opportunities aligned to strategic business outcomes.
• Guide business stakeholders through AI use case development, problem definition, benefit realization, and implementation planning.
• Facilitate intake, assessment, and prioritization of AI opportunities, directing work to the appropriate delivery path.
• Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate solution options and platform selection.
• Connect teams with AI resources and delivery partners to accelerate execution.
• Share success stories and emerging opportunities to inspire broader adoption across the organization.
• Support development and execution of AI workforce enablement programs.
