Job description

We are seeking a hands-on AI Enablement & Automation Specialist to design, build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered workflows and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in workflow automation, APIs, integrations, and AI tools with the ability to understand business challenges, implement practical solutions, and train teams on how to use them effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with teams across the organization to understand workflows, repetitive work, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-assisted workflows, automations, integrations, and internal tools.
  • Connect business applications through APIs, webhooks, databases, and automation platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Power Automate.
  • Write or modify code when an off-the-shelf connector or automation platform is not enough.
  • Use LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other models to solve appropriate operational and knowledge problems.
  • Help build approaches for making company knowledge securely available to AI systems without tying the organization to a single AI provider.
  • Build monitoring and operational signals that help employees recognize issues or exceptions that would otherwise require manual review.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and maintain what you build, including error handling, logging, retries, and validation.
  • Train employees on new tools and workflows and follow up to ensure they are actually being adopted.
  • Measure results and continue identifying the next opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience personally building and deploying software automations, integrations, or AI-assisted business solutions.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and application integrations.
  • Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar automation platforms.
  • Working knowledge of databases and how information moves between systems.
  • Practical experience using LLM APIs or AI platforms to build business solutions, not simply using AI tools as an end user.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical failures and maintain production workflows after deployment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate a nontechnical business problem into a working technical solution.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate blockers early, and take ownership through completion.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
  • RAG, embeddings, semantic/vector search, or enterprise knowledge retrieval.
  • AI agents, tool/function calling, and structured LLM workflows.
  • Microsoft 365/SharePoint, Google Workspace, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
  • Process improvement, UX/UI, or employee enablement experience.
  • Experience working across multiple business functions such as Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, Finance, or Support.

Candidates with demonstrated hands-on experience building and deploying automation solutions will be prioritized.
