Diagonal Recruitment is building a specialist network of AI Workflow Automation professionals for opportunities across New York, Boston and Charlotte. You will identify opportunities to embed AI into business processes, design end-to-end workflows, and integrate AI capabilities into customer, employee and operational journeys.

The role focuses on turning AI capability into measurable business outcomes through workflow orchestration, automation and process optimization, working across technology

Competenze

• Experience delivering workflow automation or business process transformation initiatives.
• Practical experience integrating AI into operational business processes.
• Experience deploying AI-enabled workflows or automations into production.
• Experience integrating multiple business systems, APIs or data sources.
• Experience defining human review, approval or exception-handling processes.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to demonstrate measurable business impact from automation initiatives.

We are building a specialist network of AI Workflow Automation professionals for current and upcoming opportunities across New York but also Boston and Charlotte.

These roles focus on turning AI capability into measurable business outcomes through workflow orchestration, automation and process optimization.

Role Overview

• Identify opportunities to embed AI into existing business processes and operational workflows
• Design end-to-end workflows combining people, AI and existing business systems
• Integrate AI capabilities into customer, employee and operational journeys
• Define human-in-the-loop controls, approvals and escalation paths
• Work across business, operations and technology teams to move AI-enabled workflows into production
• Measure productivity, efficiency and quality improvements resulting from AI implementation
• Support the transition from AI pilots to operational deployment

Tools & Technologies

• Workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Microsoft Power Automate or similar
• AI copilots, agents and automation platforms
• API integrations and workflow orchestration tools
• CRM, ERP and operational business systems
• Business process mapping and optimization tools
• Reporting and process analytics tools

Experience

• Experience delivering workflow automation or business process transformation initiatives
• Practical experience integrating AI into operational business processes
