The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. is seeking an AI Enablement Analyst to drive organization-wide AI initiatives and enable staff to identify, evaluate, and operationalize AI solutions that boost productivity.

The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible education for both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration across business units is essential to drive responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to identify workflows and pain points where AI tools could improve efficiency or quality.
  • Evaluate candidate AI tools against defined criteria (functionality, data handling, integration fit, cost, security) and document findings for stakeholder review.
  • Support pilots of new AI tools or use cases by defining success metrics, coordinating test groups, and reporting results.
  • Track and report on AI adoption metrics (usage, efficiency gains, user satisfaction), building dashboards where useful.
  • Maintain an inventory of new AI tools and use cases.
  • Work with respective teams to ensure new AI use cases follow Responsible AI principles, data privacy guidelines, and procurement requirements.
  • Develop and manage a centralized repository of clear, tailored training materials, encompassing quick-reference guides, video tutorials, approved use‑case examples, and prompt libraries.
  • Host virtual office hours, interactive Q&A sessions, peer show-and-tells, and user communities to help staff troubleshoot tools and adopt responsible AI practices.

Job Summary

As a key member of the Applied AI and Enablement Team, the AI Enablement Analyst acts as the primary point of contact for AI initiatives across the organization. This role empowers diverse teams throughout the organization to identify, evaluate, and operationalize AI solutions that enhance productivity. The Analyst bridges the gap between technology and business by gathering requirements, assessing the feasibility and risks of new AI tools, and championing the adoption of approved solutions through comprehensive, hands‑on training.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and deeply versed in the current AI landscape, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging education for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
