Job summary

EY is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect to design, prototype and build AI-enabled applications and digital products. You will spend most of your time designing architectures, writing and reviewing code, building proofs-of-concept, and guiding engineering teams through complex technical decisions across Digital Engineering Managed Services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in software engineering and modern application architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native design, APIs, integration patterns and data architectures.
• Practical experience building AI-enabled features (prompting, RAG, embeddings, evaluation).
• Experience working directly in code, infrastructure and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures across UI, APIs, services, data and AI components.
• Prototype and spike solutions to validate architectural decisions early.
• Define and evolve reference architectures for AI-enabled products, including RAG patterns and vector search.
• Author ADRs, sequence flows, deployment diagrams and non-functional requirements.
