Job summary

Accenture Bangalore and Gurgaon seek an experienced Software Prod & Plat Eng Manager who will own client delivery for the ALV product while remaining hands-on in code. You will lead a small, AI-enabled team, translate ambiguous requirements into actionable work, and drive quality end-to-end.

This role requires mastery of backend stacks, hands-on Docker/Kubernetes/AWS, and strong stakeholder and people management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one backend stack (.NET / Golang / Java / Node.js).
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and relational databases.
• Experience with unit and integration tests.
• Experience leading/staffing teams and stakeholder management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using AI coding tools Cursor/Claude.

Responsibilities

• Own client delivery for ALV workstreams with timelines and quality.
• Stay hands-on: design, build, review, and ship backend services.
• Manage stakeholders across internal and external teams and deliverables.
• Directly manage and grow a team; mentoring and performance management.
• Lead an AI-enabled team; champion AI tools to raise productivity and quality.
• Enforce engineering discipline: unit/integration tests, code reviews, CI/CD.
