Job summary

Cvent in Tysons, VA seeks an experienced Scrum Master 2 (SM2) to lead agile delivery in a Shared Services program focused on AI-augmented development. You will facilitate ceremonies, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and drive release readiness with data-driven insights.

The role requires 3-5+ years of SM experience, advanced Jira skills, and hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate delivery while preserving human judgment and quality.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery experience.
• Experience working across multiple sprint teams simultaneously.
• Proven ability to manage projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced Jira experience: Epics, custom fields, JQL, dashboards, data quality.
• Active, practical use of AI tools in professional work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all sprint ceremonies and SDLC checkpoints with AI-assisted summaries.
• Own cross-team dependency tracking and surface risks with mitigations.
• Lead release readiness conversations with Product, Engineering, QA, and UX.
• Manage discrete projects, define scope, milestones, risks, and reporting.
• Own charters and ensure clean project handoffs at closure.
• Maintain Jira data accuracy for Epics, initiatives, and sprints.
• Achieve ≥80% quarterly forecast accuracy and optimize delivery flow.
• Monitor SLA compliance for Prod Bug, Accessibility, Security issues.
• Communicate status end-of-sprint within 2 business days; draft AI-assisted updates.
• Coach Product Owners on backlog refinement and acceptance criteria.
