Job summary

Inadev seeks a Scrum Master to lead an agile team from Reston with a hybrid schedule, coordinating sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-team integrations. You will shield the team from impediments, maintain transparent metrics, and leverage AI-assisted delivery tools to improve velocity and predictability.

Candidates should have CSM/PSM I certification and 2+ years of software delivery experience, plus strong facilitation and Jira skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CSM or PSM I certification.
• 2+ years as a Scrum Master for software delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of Jira or similar Agile tooling.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint ceremonies: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from disruption; elevate blockers promptly.
• Maintain team boards, metrics, and sprint reports, leveraging AI-assisted tooling.
• Coordinate with other Scrum Masters on cross-team dependencies and integration points.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and sprint-readiness of stories.
• Foster team improvement through actionable retrospectives.

Position Summary

The Scrum Master serves a dedicated Agile team on the program, owning the team's delivery cadence and health. You will facilitate all sprint ceremonies, clear impediments, keep team metrics honest and visible, and help the team make effective use of AI-assisted delivery tools.

Key Responsibilities

Non-Technical Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a HYBRID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
• Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
